The latest trailer shows off some footage of a fan-favorite weapon, the Great Sword, in action. “A brief overview of the flow of the hunt, wielding a Great Sword and with two Palamutes,” says the video description. “Today’s target is the peculiar bird wyvern Aknosom, in the Shrine Ruins. Aknosom is a tricky foe, but thankfully, the Great Sword has a few new tricks up its sleeve…” Check it out below. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the trailer is how it shows off the Palamute – a new mount that you can use in the game. You will be able to sharpen your weapons, quaff potions, and more whilst mounted on your Palamute – handy if you want to rush to a target and prepare yourself en route. Announced back in September, Monster Hunter Rise puts you into the world of Kamura Village, a new mountain locale where you will experience the unique culture and innovative hunting technologies. Monster Hunter Rise is due to arrive on March 26, 2021 on Switch.
